SEVENTEEN SHITTY MOUNTAINS aka SHITTY SUN TUNNELS including HERMAPHROHENGE aka SCOTTHENGE aka SHITTY STONEHENGE & the SEWER DRUIDS is a site-specific installation and photography project created in Detroit's Eastern Market area, as part of 1xRun's 2018 Murals In The Market festival. Created from dozens of discarded concrete sewer pipes and other concrete debris found onsite surrounding a decades-vacant warehouse on the City's eastside, the 17 towers that make up the works reach up to 22 ft tall, and can weigh over 15 tons each, creating a monumental mysterious megalithic future-ancient archaeo site, and the concrete-oculus henge of your dreams. The project was featured in Juxtapoz Magazine, the Detroit Free Press, the Metro Times, and this fancy promo video. A limited edition print run featuring 2 of the 17 Shitty Mountians is available at 1xRun
